Species Richness: Around 361 bird species occur in the region, according to the WikiAves platform.
Main Locations: The Trilha da Água Branca (Barra do Una), the Sertão de Barra do Una and the area around the Port of São Sebastião are excellent observation points.
Threatened and Migratory Birds: Port areas are refuges for species such as the trinta-réis-de-bico-vermelho and the papagaio-moleiro. The garça-azul and the socó-dorminhoco are also common.
